The EIC hosted an Ethiopia-China Investment Seminar welcoming a distinguished delegation from CCPIT (China Council for the Promotion of International Trade) led by its Vice Chairman Mr. Zhang Shaogang. Ms. Hanna Arayaselassie, Commissioner of EIC, welcomed the delegation and highlighted investment opportunities. Mr. Zhang Shaogang expressed CCPIT's interest in bilateral trade and investment promotion. This was reiterated by HE Mr Yang Yihang, Minister Counselor at the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia. After remarks and presentations by EIC, Ethiopian Chamber of Commerce and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, investors had a chance to learn more through a Q&A session. EIC, CCPIT and the Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia will work together to strengthen trade and investment relations between the two countries.
